Conference started Monday, 7th July - Friday, 11th July 2008. There's so much to blog about that I don't even know how and where to start. This is probably the first time EVER seeing around 35,000 people in an arena praising God.. The scene was so inspiring..no doubt the presence of God was so strong. We could feel it the moment we stepped into the arena.
This is by far...a life changing experience!
Girls..if you're gonna be there..you need your waterproof make up and lotsa tissues...Cos you'll be MOVED...Moved to tears!Guaranteed! AMEN!
Woshipping with the HiLLsong team was an amazing experience as well...Felt as though the heavens opened when they started worshipping...I don't know how to describe!
Its just incredible!
Joyce Meyer, Judah Smith, Joseph Prince, Rober Barringer, Paul de Jong, Marcos Witt and Mike Pivalachi were the speakers throughout the whole week of conference.They're amazing speakers! Bernie bought almost ALL the cd's available for the messages! Until she realised she could actually download them online for only $5! (Its okay hun...you're alrite!) :) ♥
The guest performers at the conference were awesome! Some of them were unexpected! Let's see...we had Guy Sebastian and also the 1st runner up for Austalian Idol this year...Goodness...They sang soooo well!! Not forgetting Israel Houghton..you guys NEED to get his cd! YOU JUST NEED TO!! Leeland and Michael Gungor were good too! But...their music aint my kinda thing :P Overall..ALL of them nailed it! ALL GOOD! :)
I registered myself into the Dance Stream. It was a good experience. I, for once had the chance to do Classical Ballet during my first day! How cool is that? BUT...I failed! I have to admit I'm really bad at it! The girls looked so graceful dancing to the song 'Amazing Grace'...Myself and this girl (Meme) were both lost! Like..SO LOST! Wish I could do ballet!!! So feminine..so graceful..! I guess I'm not anywhere near THAT! :(
Michelle Leaney (The head of the dance dpt) spoke on Dance- A Gift From The Creator..She showed us videos of performances and I thought it was rather encouraging. Sandra Godde,Another speaker (Also the lady that taught us ballet) spoke about her experience in ballet.She's from the states..also involved in Project Dance, Sydney. No offense but I fell asleep listening to her..GOD PLS FORGIVE ME! :(
To my surprise, Joel Tan frm UGDN Malaysia was there teaching us breakdancing, popping and locking..*laughs*...Most of us had muscle aches after that! But it was all cool! We had fun! Heaps of it!We saw him dance too...with the Hillsong Dance Team 3:16... He..too...NAILED IT! :)
I think the dance team @ Hills' great! I've yet to post up the video of their finale performance for the conference! I was IMPRESSED!!!! VERY MUCH IMPRESSED!! Wish I could be part of the dance team!! GOD..LEAD ME! *laughs*
The final night for the performance was spectacular. It was just FULL ON praise and worship for hours. Beat that! The final night had about 40,000 people in the arena. It was jammed packed! Something you wouldn't believe! God is GOOD!!!! The whole week of conference didnt even seem long or anything like that...In fact, it passed by so quickly! Missing Sydney and the conference heaps!No matter how much I write here..It won't make a difference..You need to be there to look at it yourself..The whole church thing..the conference thing..the whole praise and worship! AGAIN..ITS LIFE CHANGING!!!! *thumbs up!*

There's only one thing bad about the conference...THE FOOD AND DRINKS were (flippin`) expensive!
