HILLSONG CONFERENCE 2008, Sydney, Australia

IT'S ALL HAPPENING DOWN UNDER!

Finally! As promised..here's a lil bit about Sydney, Hillsong Conference and All that was involved!! hahahah!!!
(In our A380 Flight, SIA)

Bernie and I left Malaysia on the 3rd of July, 2008 to Sydney for HILLSONG CONFERENCE,baybeh! It felt like we were just counting down months after months before we left and now..we're back home...Time..FLIES! no doubt! :( All I can say is that I went to Sydney and fell in LOVE....with the country! *laughs* It certainly wasn't what I expected...it was wayy better! Place was awesome, people were wonderful...and the AIR...phew....fresh! Unlike the pollution here!eeks!

Yes...we arrived Sydney at approximately 7am (Aussie time)...Plane was delayed for 2 hours..gosh..SIA's pretty lame..at times! We waited for Uncle John and Aunty Kim to pick us up...we stepped out of the airport and realised it was pouring..But still ...the air was sooooo (flippin`) fresh! :)

Oh? Did I mention? Nothing stopped us from taking pics...Before I forget, FYI..Bernz and I took about 3000 over pics throughout our trip in Sydney..!Call us crazy..but we totally have no regrets coz Sydney's such a beautiful place! ( I can't upload many pics here cos most of them are in Bernz' comp)

As soon as we got to the Brinsden's, we were all tired off... I slept in the car on our way to the house and thought I could do more sleeping when we arrive. Heck..when we arrived, Bernz and I looked at each other and said.."Cmon..this is OUR holiday!..No SLEEPING!"...*laughs* When Jasmine (Aunty Kim's daughter) asked if we wanted to go shopping, without any hesitation..we said YES! So the first SHOPPING MALL..."CASTLE TOWERS!"...I don't even wanna mention what we bought at the mall..It seemed like paradise for the both of us! hahaha!

Rachelle and Deepika (girls from Asian Extension Service) picked us up from the mall hours after that. They're such sweethearts! :) Thank U, both of you! :) They took us for dinner at Norwest where they served grilled fish and chips...Very tempting!The portion came out pretty HUGE! Bernz and I couldnt even get through it! Thanks to Rachelle...she helped s THROUGH! *laughs*

Anyways...after dinner we were told that there was a UNITED conference goin` on..so we headed to HILLSONG church for the conference..As soon as we walked into the church...We felt goosebumps! Holy spirit or just the chills you may call it..but it was indescribable! Something I've never seen in my life...A church and a congregation as big as that...It left me ..SPEECHLESS! The whole praise and worship, the sermon was breathtaking! Now I know why my sister, Karen enjoyed HILLSONG so much! hahahaha!!!People were queuing up for church, can you imagine? I've never expect people to queue up for church!! For most people, they DRAG to go to church! What I saw on my first day was just a start of something good.. :)

::Day 2::

Woke up pretty early and followed Jasmine to a dance practise... That was where I met Ian,Joanne,Jon and Diana..They're such wonderful people..Great dancers too! It was fun practising with them cos they come up with such cool moves! I've yet to post the video up..I hope they don't kill me! Pics are alright I guess! I think their performance is this Saturday! All the best people! You guys are awesome! Keep it up! (if you're reading this!) hahaha!! They're a buncha` talented people!

Practised for a lil` bit then Jasmine took us to Parklea Markets! OoOO..shop shop shop! AGAIN! that's all I can say! :)

We attended the Asian Extension Service in the evening..Great service, great people! Here's some of them..These pics were taken at an African Restaurant around the corner... :) Here's Rachelle, Shaun,Bobby and Deepika... :)

::Day 3::

Church, church and more church! I've never enjoyed church so much in my life! We attended a Filipino service in the morning...then, Uncle John took us to the Blacktown Mall...We thought Castle Towers was already big enough...this one's MASSIVE!*laughs*..You could leave me a week there and I still can't finish looking around the shops!haha!

After all the shopping, we headed down to HILLSONG CHURCH!! whee!!!! First time for the Sunday service! First session at 430pm, second session at 730pm..Joyce Meyer preached for both services and it was splendid! :) The thing about her 'lil red dress cracked me up!

Tell ya'll something embarassing... Before the service started..This lady came up to me and said.."A lot of people, aye?"..I said "Yea"...and smiled...and thats all I did...Not long after I saw her on stage singing..her voice was so angelic..! Guess who?? It was DARLENE! omigosh! I didn't even realised!! I was so silly...would've taken a pic with her!! G.R.E.A.T!!!!!! *ergh!*We were sittin` at the first row with Aunty Kim and Uncle John! We're SO blessed!!

Not only did we see Darlene.. we saw Brian and Bobby Houston, Joel Houston, JD,Brooke Fraser...all of them looked somehow...PERFECT! hahahah!!! *everyone @ HILLS need to keep up to a certain standard i guess*

The church service itself consists of about 10,000 ppl... massive church!!!!! and I meant..absolutely MASSIVE!!! (u just need to be there to see it!) So inspiring!
